Intimate concerts
So, why intimate concerts?
First of all, my music fits so well in any room that is small, cozy, relaxed, comfortable, warm and inviting. It is as if it was ment to be played there. The stories, the melodies and the quietness all gets amplified in there, and makes it grow into something grand
Secondly, I love seeing my audience letting down their guard, closing their eyes and allowing themselves to rest. I love creating spaces where we can rest in community.
And this, in my experience, is so much easier for us humans when we are inside of a home. Even if we don’t know the person who’s hosting the concert. It makes us feel good. Drinking tea from somebody’s tea cup, being in their everyday space, smelling their smells, sitting shoulder to shoulder with another stranger who just let out a sigh or shed a tear. It brings us closer to our humanness.
Thirdly, intimate concerts are so special.
Seriously. I’ve played many of them, and I remember every single one.
Because of the uniqueness of each and every one of them. The intimacy, the tenderness, the realness and venerability of the space and the people hosting and the guests. It is really something special.
More than just another concert. It is a meeting of you and me and all the others, all together. We meet to get closer to our humanity.
And this, my friends, I find really really important, AND it is really, really rare in today’s society.

Hi! My name is Siri.
I am a folk inspired singer songwriter, storyteller and painter of moments. I have released two albums ‘Songs for a Restless World’ and ‘Ways of being’, and I’ve written all the songs for my third.
The past decade I’ve made a living from playing small, intimate concerts all over Europe, and I really really love to meet you there, and connect to my audience in this way.
I play guitar and I sing, and my music in a few words could be; calming, nurturing, beautiful and poetic.
I write love songs to the big and small moments in life, and people often tell me I am really good at capturing the essence of the human experience and the things we have in common, no matter where we live, what we do, our age or social position. My concerts are like a warm hug, and I love telling the stories behind my songs, and create safe, calm and cozy spaces for connection and rest.

Intimate concert faq
What is the hosts role?
As a host you are offering a space where we co-create a concert together. This can be a living room, or a bed room, terrace, a kitchen or any other space you feel is suited for a concert.
how many people should I invite?
It is totally up to you to decide how many people you’d like to invite. In my experience we hit a sweet spot with 12-30 people, depending on the room and the capacity of the space.
Does the event need to be public?
No, you decide if it is a public or a privat event.
If you only want your closest friends and family to come, that is totally fine!
If you find it fun to let it be a public event, we can make a Facebook event to invite the local community to join.
what is the structure of the event?
The concert will be about 1,5 hours long, either with two sets of 40 min or all in one.
If can be nice with a break in the middle if there is food or drinks involved, but this can also be done before or after the concert.
DOES IT HAVE TO BE IN A LIVING ROOM?
No! I have played in bedrooms, attics, winter gardens, terraces, gardens and roof tops. As long as it is a space that feels special to you and where you feel comfortable inviting people in to, I am sure we can make it work
